Job Profile for CAD Technician - MC269232

CAD Technician required for a manufacturer of pumps based in Camberley. The successful candidate wil either be a graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 2D AutoCAD skills or a CAD Technician with experience of 2D AutoCAD.

CAD Technician Position Overview

• Collaborate with the management of the company to provide CAD Design services and assist with the implementation and execution of the key objectives for the further development of the business.
• To liaise closely with colleagues on a day-to-day basis to ensure tasks are completed as and when required.
• Respond to customer requirements and provide continuously high levels of service, to ensure that complete customer satisfaction is maintained, and repeat business is secured.
• Maintain the highest levels of accuracy with regards to the CAD drawings to support technical submissions, estimates, quotations, and proposals.
• To maintain the reputation of the company as a market leading enterprise.
• To carry out other tasks that may be required in order to maintain the smooth operation and development of the business.

CAD Technician Position Requirements

• Highly motivated and be able to work on own initiative within the boundaries set out.
• Technically competent with a willingness to learn and gain expertise associated with pumping station design and formulation of detailed 2D AutoCAD layout drawings.

CAD Technician Position Remuneration

• Future progression opportunities to being a qualified Design Engineer
• Salary dependent on experience but likely £25k-£33k
• Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (16:00 finish Fridays)
• Full time in office
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Bonus scheme paid quarterly (roughly 10% of salary)
