We’re looking for an experienced CAD Engineer with an Engineering/Fabrication background to join our client, a growing Engineering Company in Barnsley.

The successful CAD Engineer will be tasked with handling projects and ensuring all customer requirements are met. You will ensure 2D & 3D drawings are drawn to specification and work with procurement and the business to ensure stock levels are maintained.

As CAD Engineer, you will:

  • Have 2D AutoCAD & 3D Inventor experience
  • Use Procut CAD/CAM software or similar software
  • Liaise with customers around design & queries
  • Excellent communication with colleagues & customers
  • Perform tasks in line with Health & Safety and Quality Standards.
  • Have Continuous Improvement experience.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • AutoCAD experience (Essential)
  • Solidworks or Inventor experience (Desirable)
  • Degree or equivalent in Engineering (HND / HNC)
  • An Engineering / Fabrication background
  • Experience collaborating with a variety of different teams to ensure success

Our client offers:

  • Salary: up to £35,000 a year
  • 37.5hr week with early finish Friday
