An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Designer with skills in both 2D and 3D to join our client in the Maidstone area who are a leading environmental services company offering a range of b2b services including liquid waste disposal, equipment for hire and treatment systems.

They are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer with extensive knowledge of Autodesk Inventor to join their dynamic team who will design, develop, and engineer high-quality models of equipment, pipework and access solutions, both 2D and 3D.

Working as a CAD Engineer for this growing business, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Creating 2D and 3D drawings and models of equipment, pipework and access solutions
• Working from supplier drawings in order to create 3D models using industry standard component specifications.
• Extensive document and record management.
• Keep to deadlines and department KPIs, often working at pace to tight deadlines.
• Working collaboratively as part of a team, including attending team meetings and problem solving, with potential to be client facing on occasion to discuss design briefs.

To be considered for this CAD Designer position, you will have:

• Excellent working knowledge and experience using Autodesk Inventor, CAD and Vault
• Some solid working experience in a similar role within a relevant sector (Engineering, manufacturing, civil engineering).
• The ability to communicate professionally both in writing and verbally (good standard of English essential)
• A high attention to detail and a dynamic approach.
• A solution focused mentality with the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
• The ability to use MS Office and to pick up other systems with ease.
• A full UK driving licence (this is essential, please do not apply if you do not drive)
