CAD Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing company based in Sheffield to recruit a CAD Engineer to join their team.

Working as part of the Engineering team, the CAD Engineer will design and develop new and existing products. 

 Duties and responsibilities of the CAD Engineer include:

• Creation of Standard and Complex Solid models
• CAD File storage and management
• Revision control on drawings, CAD files & ERP system
• Drawing & Route card BOM creation 
• Ensuring supporting spreadsheets are up to date with the latest data/information
• Measuring time spent on each project to assist resource management & closed-loop
• Ensure software & hardware are maintained and kept up to date
• Ensure training needs are identified and raised with the Engineering Manager
• Maintain AS9100 compliance on Drawings, CAD files and supporting documents
• Create & Maintain standardised drawing templates
• Operate 3D Printer & maintain consumables stock level
• Operate Tensile & compression testing equipment
• Support NPI & Manufacturing Engineers

We would like to speak with CAD Engineers with the following skills/experience:

• Degree qualified in Engineering  
• Experience using Solidworks software
