Salary: £30,000 - £40,000

Position: Full Time / Permanent

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented CAD Designer to join our team. As a CAD Designer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of modular building projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to create detailed drawings and models that adhere to our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of modular building components and structures.
  • Work closely with the design team to translate concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
  • Ensure that designs comply with building regulations and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to resolve design issues and optimize construction processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation and specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design efficiency and functionality.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit, with a strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles.
  • Previous experience in modular construction or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise drawings.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of building regulations and construction standards in the UK.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
