We are looking for a versatile and skilled Production Team Member to join our workshop. This hands-on role is integral to our production team and offers a wide range of responsibilities, from CAD drawing and CNC operation to carpentry and scenic finishes. The successful candidate will support the Workshop Manager and contribute to the company’s commitment to sustainability and quality control.
Day to Day of the Role:- Engage in various production build tasks, including carpentry, metalworking, spray painting, prop making, and scenic finishes.
- Operate CNC machines and prepare CAD drawings for the technical construction of projects.
- Manage workshop activities, including stock control, asset management, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Drive the company van as needed, assisting with loading and unloading materials.
- Collaborate with the team and subcontractors, providing necessary drawings and specifications for project completion.
- Uphold the company’s sustainability policy by minimizing material wastage and maintaining health & safety compliance.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the company, both on-site and within the workshop.
- GCSEs including English & Maths or equivalent.
- Full clean driving license; experience driving a Luton Van is desirable.
- Forklift License is a plus.
- Proficiency in CAD, CNC operation, and file preparation (V-Carve).
- Experience in carpentry, construction, set build, and props.
- Knowledge of scenic and paint techniques, COSHH, and health & safety practices.
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office, CAD, and V-Carve.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
