CAD Data Analyst

Role Overview: 
Our client a multibillion-pound corporation is currently recruiting a CAD Data Analyst to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on CAD data management such as data production, content publishing, and compliance of data quality & assurance processes. The chosen candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform data audits, data analysis and data quality checks preferably around supply chain queries using tools such as Power BI for automation. This position is paying a basic salary of £42,350 + 15% bonus + Hybrid working located in London on a permanent contract.
You’ll be working in the Digital Engineering team to support delivery functions and interfacing with suppliers across different information types. This is an important role to help support the organisation in the form of CAD data management and all related CAD data flows associated with deliveries.

Role requirements: 
  • Responsible for management of data exchanges of Suppliers within or delivering to the Common Data Environment, with particular focus on CAD data.
  • Responsible for reporting data quality issues and analysis of root causes to the Digital Engineering Team, Delivery Teams, and Suppliers, with particular focus on CAD data.
  • Responsible for compliance with Digital Engineering standards, specifications and operating procedures within the organisation and Suppliers.
  • Responsible for identifying areas for improvement and feedback into information requirements, specification development and standards creation.
  • Contribute to undertaking transformation of data for other functional uses and facilitating appropriate data assurance and approval by others
  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies, and procedures on EDI
Skills:
  • Strong experience with data management, data quality & assurance experience throughout the entire project lifecycle is a must have.
  • Ideally has experience working within the construction / engineering / public sector industries is a must have.
  • Experience in programming languages such as SQL and Power BI are a must have.
  • Knowledge of data quality techniques and data assurance processes is a must have.
  • Experience of raising awareness of Digital Engineering, delivering briefing sessions and providing support throughout an organisation and its supply chain is a must have.
  • Knowledge engineering, CAD, and 3D model data is a nice to have.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills is a nice to have.
  • Experience of working with open formats to enable data interoperability and encourage a software agnostic approach is a nice to have.
  • Experience of working within set standards, processes, and systems but with an expectation to contribute to decision making on process improvement is a nice to have.
