Concept IT are collaborating with a leading telecommunications company in search of experienced Cabling Engineers proficient in Cat5/6 cabling.

Their services are tailored to include a range of offerings such as Broadband packages (ADSL, FTTC, FTTP), VOIP Phone Systems, Landline numbers to mobile, CCTV Systems (Hikvision, Dahua, etc.), and Intruder Alarms (Wired & Wireless). In this position, you will handle various installations, encompassing Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony, and fibre optics across different settings.

Contract Duration - 3 months starting from April/May

Responsibilities -

  • Execute a range of Network & IT cabling installations across diverse environments, including but not limited to, Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, telephony, and fibre optics.
  • Adhere to tight deadlines, ensuring tasks meet both company and client expectations.
  • Install and test wireless access points.
  • Abide by Health and Safety Policies and Statutory Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Prepare and comprehend site-specific Risk Assessments.
  • Complete all project-related engineer's documentation.
  • Act as a point of contact and liaison with customers during installation.
  • Undertake minor electrical installations, contingent upon qualifications.

The Candidate -

  • To qualify for this role, prior industry experience is necessary, coupled with a technical grasp of network cabling and installations.
  • Must have a Full UK Driving License
  • Must be happy to travel within the field
