Job Title: Cabling/Connector Assembler
Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £25,188.80 starting salary increasing with service/experience
Benefits: Monthly bonus, quarterly performance bonus, compressed hours, 32 days annual leave increasing with service, good pension scheme, subsidised gym membership and canteen
Hours: Compressed hours

Contract Length: 12 weeks temp to perm

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of cabling, control units and connectors for various industries, including Formula 1, Space, Aerospace, Defence, Sub-Sea and Petrochem.

Job Description
You will be responsible for the intricate assembly of varying cabling/wiring harnesses and connectors following detailed work instructions.

Key accountabilities

* The intricate assembly of cabling and wiring harnesses using various tooling including soldering irons, heat guns, precision tweezers and screw drivers, to name a few.
* You will be responsible for accurate assembly, ensuring detailed work instructions are followed to the letter to minimize non-conformance and rejections.
* You will need to be extremely health and safety aware, keeping yourself and colleagues safe at all times.

Knowledge/experience/skills

* While there is training provided on these roles, we are looking for previous experience working in a detail orientated manufacturing or assembly role.
* For this role, dexterity is key as a lot of the cabling is extremely intricate, a lot of this work is conducted under LED magnification.
* Ability to follow step by step detailed instructions is a must.
* A keen eye for detail and willingness to learn
* Any qualifications in manufacturing or engineering would also be a bonus
