C++ Software Engineer, Audio & Video, Central London, Excellent basic + Bonus, Bens
We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer to work for a fast-growing company in central London. You will be joining a team of over 700 engineers who are at the forefront of technology, developing next generation connected products within consumer electronics and IoT devices.
  
You will be a highly skilled C++ Software Engineer with strong experience working in and around Audio and Video.
  
Typical projects you will be working on
  • Video/audio-codecs for devices to ensure compatibility.
  • Audio - native library for VR device to enable call handling.
  • Mixer - normalize output volume from several incoming audio streams.
  • Video - determine right codec for certain network situations, latency/bitrate/congestion.
  • Audio - telemetry to understand loudness in different conference rooms.
  • Video - screensharing, how do we control bitrate distribution among participants.

Requirements of C++ Software Engineer – Audio – Video Codecs
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Recent and relevant experience working as a C++ Software Engineer dealing with Audio / Video codecs
  • Strong C++ knowledge (Ideally latest version C++ 20
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
Salary: £80k - £100k + Excellent Bens and bonus
