Do you have design experience, and are you seeking a new job in Gaydon? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit a full-time Automotive Designer, and the role comes with an Umbrella contract rate of £44.24 per hour (Inside IR35).

As a Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing colour and materials for the company's bespoke programmes from an interior and exterior point of view from concept onwards.

If you were already in this Designer role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:

• Developing interior/exterior body and trim finishes and surface materials in terms of colour, aesthetic and tactile qualities, selection and application
• Leading private client and edition projects, including commissions, specification generation and stakeholder alignment
• Negotiating against cost and feasibility issues to achieve customer satisfaction
• Liaising with Interior and Exterior Designers, Sales and Marketing, Engineers and Suppliers.

To apply for this Designer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• A degree-level qualification in Textile Fashion, Graphics, Product, Automotive design or similar
• Experience as a designer with proven experience or examples in a portfolio of colour and material design application
• Proficiency in Adobe creative suite Photoshop, Illustrator/VRED Colour and Indesign.
• Material Design experience in Automotive or Luxury Brands.
