Buying & Merchandising Assistant

Supplier of Apparel

Oldham - Office Based

My Client, a supplier of branded apparel to a number of High Street retailers now has an excellent opportunity to join their team.

Candidates from the following backgrounds will be considered:

  • Buying Admin / Assistant
  • Merchandising Admin / Assistant (Retail HO)
  • Import Merchandising
  • Shipping

Responsibilities:

  • Accurate data inputting onto the company system & excel spreadsheets
  • Updating internal systems
  • Managing order progress & deliveries for Key accounts
  • Liaising with customers & other teams within the company
  • Liaising with the suppliers & import dept to track shipments
  • To be responsible for managing & distributing the seasonal sample ranges
  • Responsible for ensuring that specific customer requirements are met with regard to labelling.
  • Flexibility to help where required with the team.
  • General office duties

Skills Required:

  • Experience in either a Sales, Shipping or Buying Administration role.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work within a team
