What you'll be doing
As the Buying & Merchandising Manager, you will lead a team of four and ultimately oversee everything from an operational perspective on the buying and merchandising side. You will be hands on within this role when it comes to product buying as well as with your management and optimising product availability, pricing and efficiency.
You will work with the team to identify new product ranges and drive cost reductions and new processes to maintain that high level of customer value. You’ll build new and existing relationships with partners/suppliers.
This is a role within a fast-paced environment, and you will need to champion your commercial awareness in order to drive growth across the business and enhance that customer experience.
What experience you'll need to apply
- Proven experience within buying and merchandising from a retail perspective
- Previous experience working within an eCommerce business
- A strong, proactive leader with line management experience – coaching and developing a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Data-driven with an analytical mindset
- The ability to thrive under pressure
