Buying Manager FMCG | Dublin | To €70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Zachary Daniels Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this global retailer with the appointment of a new Buying Manager.

As Buying Manager your role will be truly cross-functional - you will be right at the centre of the business, leading and driving the commercial agenda with full accountability for your product category and an opportunity to shape the future of the business through your team of buyers.

To be considered for this exciting Buying Manager position you will display the following:

Strong experience within a relevant buying manager or senior commercial role - ideally food or drink category experience but all fmcg backgrounds to be considered

A bold leader who holds the team accountable for category strategies and is passionate about delivering best in class results through the team

Understands the importance and takes a proactive approach to the development of wider trading team members

Takes an interest in longer term resource management (succession planning etc.)

An individual who has the ability to work cross-functionally to deliver results

Strong business acumen

Is a compelling voice of the business and category(s) externally (suppliers, landlords), and internally (stakeholders, stores)

Acts as part of a wider Buying Management 'team'

Leads and develops a positive culture

This is a hybrid role requiring some occasional travel abroad.

Salary up to €70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus and Extensive Benefits
