Your primary responsibilities would be to:

• Seek quotes on prices and availability of materials from a variety of suppliers
• Negotiate best prices with suppliers and manage the order placing process
• Purchase goods, supplies and other relevant services including those for FM
• Identify potential suppliers and new products
• Liaise between suppliers and relevant internal departments (i.e Project Management and Facilities Management teams)
• Closely monitor and report delivery schedules to and from sites
• Keep detailed records and maintain a well organised work schedule
• Assess the reliability of suppliers and delivery performance
• Conduct supplier list reviews to secure approved supplier list 
• Ensure all materials comply with Health and Safety guidelines
• Any other duties commensurate with the post

You must be proficient in Ms Word/Excel as well as have a firm knowledge of building services and FM industry. CIPS qualification would also be an advantage in this role.
