SF Recruitment are working with a High Growth family run business who are recruiting for a Buyer within the Procurement and Supply Chain team. This is a permanent, full-time role with a salary paying up to £37,000. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team in a business where employees are the heart of everything. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the procurement of materials considering cost, quality and lead times. You will need to have excellent communication skills in order to manage supplier relationships.

Scope of role
- Purchase goods, materials, components, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Supplier relationship management, negotiations and cost down activities
- Identify and report sources of risks from supply chain.
- Support work on new supply strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and transparency.
- NCR Management

The Lead Buyer
- Experienced within Purchasing/Procurement
- Ideally from a Manufacturing/Engineering background
- Planning and Organisation Skills
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent Communication and Relationships building skills
- Positive and flexible approach
- MRP/ERP and Excel experience
