Buyer/Planner

Do you have Buyer/Planner experience, and are you looking for a new opportunity? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is recruiting for a leading UK and European UAS solutions provider based in Leicestershire. This full-time permanent buyer / planner role offers a favourable salary and benefits.

As a Buyer/Planner, you will create and maintain the planning schedule using forecast, capacity modelling and MRP systems. You will play a key role securing cost efficient, timely and in-full deliveries from external suppliers.

In your first few weeks in this Buyer/Planner role, you can expect to:

• Analyse and evaluate forecasts/reports to enhance supply chain delivery
• Collaborate with other key supply chain stakeholders to maintain planning and supplier in the ERP system
• Ensure continuous improvement against company planning systems
• Monitor MRP requirements and order statues to ensure delivery dates are on target
• Prepare weekly schedule plans and supplier forecast, ensuring they are effectively communicated to all relevant stakeholders.

To apply for this Buyer/Planner role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Good knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
• Aerospace and Defence knowledge (an advantage but not essential)
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work to high levels of accuracy.
