Business Support Officer DOLS team - London Borough Council

Responsive, high quality, professional and timely administrative and advisory to service areas

Experience within DOLS (Deprivation of Liberty) admin is essential

£15.52 p/h PAYE - £18 p/h Umbrella (Circa £33,5 K per annum)

36 hours per week

Based in East London, near Romford

About the role

  • Working in a fast pace multi matrix management team
  • To support diary management, including planning and facilitating meetings and events
  • Support various operational and business management team
  • To provide minute-taking support to various service areas (desirable but training can be provided)
  • To be able to multi-task and demonstrate a flexible approach to workload management to ensure various administrative tasks are completed in order of priority

About you

  • A strong administrative background and detailed knowledge of office procedures
  • Knowledge of the functions and governance arrangements of Local Government
  • An understanding of the roles, needs and priorities of Local Authorities, External Partners in relation to DOLS
  • It is preferred that the candidate has previous experience as a Business Support Officer
