SALARY: £33,311 - £35,114 FTE / Approximate Actual Salary £29,514 - £31,112

LOCATION: Leicester, Leicestershire (LE5)

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week - Term Time + 4 weeks (41 weeks total)

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Business Support and Administration Managerprevious management and staff leadership experience, some project management experience (e.g. building projects) and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Working as the Business Support and Administration Manager you will be the key point of contact between the centralised Finance & HR teams and will be directly responsible for the strategic and operational management of the school business administration, supporting the overall management of the school.

As the Business Support and Administration Manager you will be responsible for project management providing accurate written guidance to the Senior Leadership Team. You will be responsible for ensuring GDPR compliance within the school and manage the financial, personnel and site management aspects of the extended schools provision within the school.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Business Support and Administration Managerwill include:

  • Be responsible for advising the senior leadership team and the SSC on various matters to ensure the smooth running of the school
  • Ensure new members of the office staff are fully trained and inducted on the use of office and ICT equipment
  • Research grants and sources of funding and have marketing responsibilities for promoting the extended school service
  • Build close working relationship with the Senior Leadership Team and SSC
  • Proactively review resources and spending priorities to ensure that school development plan targets reflect budget planning

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience of project management e.g. building projects
  • Able to cope with varied pressures and work to deadlines
  • Experience of managing and leading staff
  • Personable, approachable, able to explain complex issues
  • Proven experience in a relevant function
