We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic person to join a fantastic company based in Lye.  The successful candidate will be polite, efficient and will have excellent telephone manner when speaking to existing customers and prospects.  Working alongside a busy sales and accounts team, the role will involve building relationships with a portfolio of new and longstanding customers and assisting in all administration work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering in bound calls from existing and new prospect companies.
  • Quoting customers for standard products and providing information to promote sale.
  • Processing customer orders
  • Working with production to quote bespoke products and co-ordinate projects for Taylor made items to meet the specific requirements of the end user customer.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to promote repeat business.
  • Inputting orders onto the computer systems.
  • Chasing previously quoted orders to establish progress.
  • Monitoring customer orders and keeping track of progress.
  • Supporting senior sales members
  • Supporting accounts and the purchasing team

Person Specification  

  • This person would need to be polite and have excellent communication skills.
  • To be articulate and well organised and have the ability to manage their own time in an effective manner.
  • To be a good team player and to encourage co-operation between all departments.
