Business Restructuring and Insolvency Associate

Here at Interlink we have an opening for a non-contentious Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyer to join this growing law firm based in their London office.

This firm is one of the leading global law firms with their distinctive market position they have over 40 offices in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience gained within a top tier firm is required. It is essential that the candidate has a strong academic background with excellent written communication and drafting skills.
• The successful candidate must have outstanding technical skills in restructuring and insolvency, together with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team.
• Suitable candidates will have between one to three years post qualification experience (or equivalent experience).

Department Description

• Today’s cross-border restructuring and insolvency work calls for lawyers skilled in providing bold and commercial solutions.
• The Restructuring and Insolvency Lawyers advise all stakeholders in restructuring and insolvency cases. From a global platform, they provide pragmatic, business-focused advice to creditors, multinational companies, and insolvency administrators.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Understanding of legal principles of own practice area, along with a working knowledge of other practice areas.
• Has project management responsibility, ensuring timely delivery to high quality standards.
• Stays aware of legal developments affecting any specialist areas and regularly attends appropriate training sessions.
• Understands the industry and market in which the practice stream and clients operate.
• Contributes to the management of the group/practice area by understanding the areas of specialism, the firm’s capabilities and business plan.
