Business Optimisation Manager - Banbury - Hybrid based.

As our Business Optimisation Manager, you will enable and facilitate the business community in Operations and allied functions to gain the best possible outcomes through process optimisation and technology adoption to maximise external and internal customer journey satisfaction on a continuous improvement basis. You will build and strengthen the relationship and interaction between technology and the business to maximise the effectiveness of our existing and future investments.

Responsibilities as our Business Optimisation Manager:

  • To facilitate the optimal design of the BFS customers’ “journey” to ensure BFS delivers a competitive experience that cost effectively addresses customers’ needs across the full customer life cycle.
  • To review and provide appropriate robust challenge to the business on FIT/GAP analyses with a particular focus on a technology solution’s ability to meet our needs with limited customisation through adapting related processes where required, i.e. a focus on outputs and how we achieve them
  • To support project managers in leading and facilitating projects on a cross functional basis across all locations and groups, both central and devolved
  • To deliver business analysis in the realm of technology, how to apply it to processes or adapt processes to fit the technology while maintaining the customer centricity and control mechanisms required by the business.
  • To keep appraised of the processes, techniques in RE and business analysis, project lead and management as well as information technology, operating practices (behaviours) that can help the smooth day to day running of business operations now and into the future.
  • To facilitate continuous operational improvement and optimal digitalisation/transformation of operations and related customer service platforms and processes to support and drive customer success, revenue growth and profitability.
  • To foster and maintain close relationships with the key areas of Operations, Project Management and IT and keep abreast of changes and new functionality which could benefit business operations and efficiency.

What we are looking for in our ideal Business Optimisation Manager:

  • Experience in system development / implementation projects
  • An analytical person who is self-reliant, pro-active with excellent problem solving skills
  • A good understanding of the customer and user needs and challenges in BFS’s marketplace(s)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to cooperate effectively and establish good working relationships across departments to promote stakeholder involvement
  • Communicative English language (verbal and written)
  • Good planning and organisational skills and an ability to work in a structured manner under pressure
  • Time management
