Working with procurement, technical and NPD teams, you will refine briefs, quote for new business, manage the commercials, negotiate and drive projects forward to agree annual contracts.
Key Responsibilities
- Focusing on new business development.
- To establish new profitable and sustainable sales revenue within the Foodservice channel.
- Management of the P&L, forecast, and risks & opportunities to plan.
- Establishing strong relationships with customers and being their primary point of contact.
Ideal Candidate
- Must possess strong selling and negotiation experience within FMCG.
- Will have managed multiple accounts as a National Account Manager within Foodservice.
- Demonstrate intimate knowledge of the Market, its dynamics, and its key customers.
- Able to identify opportunities and build strong customer relationships quickly.
- Managed Own Label ranges.
- Negotiated and delivered long-term contracts.
- Graduate calibre, with excellent communication skills and high levels of IT literacy and financial acumen.
- Ability to lead the customer/channel agenda across the business.
- A team player, but able to think independently and manage time effectively.
- Must have a growth mindset, real results-focus and drive to succeed, able to demonstrate entrepreneurial thinking, self-starter determination & that all important passion and desire to deliver.
As well as a basic salary, a car allowance of £6k is offered along with 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a bonus scheme, development training and private healthcare.
This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work in the Norfolk office at least one day a week. You will also be visiting customers so the ability to travel around East Anglia is a must.
