When I sat down to write this job ad, I thought to myself "How can I make this job stand out from
the rest?" I started to think about how sales at an early stage business would be ideal for
someone who likes the space and autonomy to get the work done but knows they’ve got the
support there when needed.

Then I realised that aswell as this, someone who was comfortable having customer marketing
and martech-type conversations with prospects would probably find this role attractive.
I could have used words like "awesome" and "exciting opportunity" but they get used so much
that they kind of become meaningless. So instead, I thought I’d describe why this role actually isawesome and an exciting opportunity.

First up, you’ll be working directly with the Chief Revenue Officer to build a sales pipeline and
process, using tools like Hubspot and Dripify to automate your activity where possible. You’ll
work with them to define an ICP, build your lists and start the sales process.

Secondly, the company, Sourse.ai is a pioneering AI startup headquartered and founded in Australia, which is
all about helping customers make data-driven decisions. Their SaaS platform empowers telco
and subscription-based businesses to succeed and stay ahead of the game through AI-backed
Customer Value Management (CVM).

They’ve proven the market fit, have signed high-value clients already and are now primed to
grow even further in the UK and Europe. Which is where you come in. You’ll be fundamental to
their next growth stage through high-quality business development, relationship building and
sales excellence.

Come on board and you’ll find a close-knit team of customer-obsessed data geeks and tech
enthusiasts looking for someone just like you to join the team.

  • Manage the lead generation process, from ICP development to first contact and on to the demo phase, ensuring a robust pipeline and accurate forecasting.
  • Develop a sales process that leverages the best of automation where possible but maintains a human element through voice and video calls and in person meetings where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the CRO to analyse activity management, pipeline friction points, win/loss ratios and overall performance health
  • Leverage appropriate opportunities such as industry trade shows, webinars and podcasts in order to develop sales opportunities.

Skills and qualifications needed:

  • A proven track record in business development or sales within the SaaS industry is essential.

  • A strong understanding of SaaS business models, industry trends, and the competitive landscape is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field would be a bonus.

Why Join?:

  • Be part of a rapidly growing AI startup with a global presence and exciting expansion plans.
  • Limited hierarchy, layers of approval and policy, meaning you can get things done.
  • Be included in the bonus scheme
  • Learn and thrive alongside a talented team of data scientists, former Telco execs and technologists.
