Exciting opportunity with a high profile global engineering company with offices in UK, EU & China. Well-established and respected company with large scale Projects for major clients. Our client has expanded and now requires a dedicated BD Lead / Manager for their Offshore Wind Engineering Consultancy. We are currently fulfilling the role on behalf of the client.

Role

  • Responsibility for BD, Sales & Marketing for Offshore Wind Engineering Consultancy.
  • Manage your own BD and pipeline and Help develop sales strategy
  • Devise and execute new ideas for Business Development campaigns (in conjunction with marketing agency).
  • Mix of new and existing business: Responsible for building relationships and growing accounts with existing clients and also winning new business bids.
  • Attend Events, webinars, content creation and getting involved with renewables.

The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to work in cross-cultural teams, and strong decision-making abilities.

Essential skills and experience

  • Technical Sales &/ Business Development in tech / engineering
  • Background in engineering consultancy sales
  • B2B Business Development processes and technologies.
  • Ideally within renewable energy.
    WordPress, HubSpot, Slack, Mailchimp and Teams.

Advantage:

Background in Offshore Wind engineering with commercial knowledge

Experience in offshore wind- at either a contractor, consultancy or client.

Experience with offshore wind: any of energy companies, wind developers, designers, manufactures, suppliers, fabricators, support vessels, installation / construction contractors

Location: UK (ideally any of Bristol, Edinburgh, London) or Europe. (remote working possible).
