What you’ll be doing
- Winning new business opportunities through face to face and virtual meetings, telesales, participation in exhibitions, and understanding potential prospects.
- Maintaining a healthy pipeline of prospects and ensure accurate forecasting to drive business growth.
- High-level of relationship building to effectively manage and retain the closure of new business.
- Providing a consultative approach on clinical insights to develop tailored proposals.
- Achieve annual sales targets and monthly quotas, providing regular sales forecasts and updates whilst actively attending internal sales meetings.
- Identify opportunities for up-selling services and effectively communicate market and sponsor feedback internally to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales within a consultative, commercial environment in one or more of the following: science industry; scientific publishing; publishing; marketing agency; event sales; distribution sales; other professional sales services; professional services.
- A scientific degree or equivalent qualification or professional experience.
- Experience and knowledge of the clinical industry.
- Track record of new business, account management, and achieving targets.
- Excellent communication skills with confidence on the phone and a creative flair to your work.
- Drive and motivation to grow the business.
