An exciting new opportunity as a Business Development Manager for a person who has experience within a fast paced logistics environment / FMCG. An attractive base salary of up to £40,000 is available, plus a car allowance of up to £9000!! 

Travel across The UK (Sometimes Ireland), and occasional overnight stays are an essential requirement of this role.

Key Experience / Skills 

- You will be experienced within a fast paced, logistics environment with awareness of FMCG, and, you will be able to build and maintain strong, positive relationships via effective communication. 

- You will be able to Identify opportunities to gain new customer business, inclusive of current customer upstream suppliers to grow the pool and ensure budgeted volume is achieved.

- You will be an inquisitive individual who asks relevant, supply chain questions in order to drive value.

- You will have the ability to analyse and assess situations quickly and effectively to reach an appropriate and timely solution to complex issues, which may include the need for difficult conversations.

- You will be have demonstrable experience in data analysis to drive results, in addition to the ability to use this information to work with other team members in order to achieve high standards of service. 

- You will have a commercially aware perspective and understand the importance of market trends on business performance.

- You enjoy variety and challenge, and are able to maintain a positive approach in a fast paced environment whilst working with autonomy and remotely, but also as part of the commercial accounts team.
