Business Development Manager

£40000 - £43000 + Commission

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the UK's leading independent supplier of air compressors, air tools, and pneumatic and fluid power process products.

My client has been established for over 170 years, showing extremely impressive growth in profit, they are looking for a tenacious, hardworking, experienced technical sales person to join them during this exciting period.

Previous experience required:

Engineering background, preferably technical sales experience within compressed air industry related products.

Daily duties to include:

  • Generate new business
  • Generate sales among client accounts, including up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Ensure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate client needs and demands to relevant department.
  • Identify opportunities to grow business with existing clients.
  • Ensure clients are kept up to date with our range of products and services.

Benefits:

Basic Salary £40 - £43K

Quarterly bonus scheme OTE up to 25% of salary
