Our client is a well-trusted, specialist commercial moving company based in Birmingham. They are currently searching for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team covering the West Midlands area. This role is heavily focused on sourcing new clients for the business.

This is a fantastic chance to work for a reputable and long-standing business in the commercial moving sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Your main obligation is to manage and create new business possibilities for the organisation.
  • Nurture a network by keeping open lines of contact with prospective and current clients, as well as fostering relationships and building rapport with target clients to win future business.
  • Attend networking events to make contacts and promote the business.
  • Ad hoc administration.
  • Effective communication with all contact sources
  • Provide coherent reports regarding sales targets, profits, and operations.
  • Devise plans to ensure the progression and growth of the business.

Requirements:

  • Experience in business development and sales in commercial moving or a related sector.
  • Driven by sales with evidence of over-reaching goals.
  • A go-getter who is enthusiastic about winning new clients.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial relocation and the ability to convey this to clients.
  • The ability to make concise and cohesive presentations.
