Business Development Manager - Clothing
An award-winning clothing design company is looking to appoint an ambitious Business Development Manager. This is a great role for someone interested in lead generation and strives to give great customer service, whilst working with some of the world's biggest names.
You will work closely with the Senior Sales Manager to help set sales and revenue goals for each financial year. Assist the Senior Sales Manager with the planning, implementation, and execution of sales strategies, plans, and activities, to meet the company targets for business GROWTH and PROFITABILITY
Responsibilities
- Lead the sales funnel activities to drive new business development success.
- Building strong long-term relationships with all clients and continually looking for opportunities to delight them.
- Act as the main point of contact for all clients, and create plans to address their needs (processing new orders, ensuring smooth on-time deliveries, dealing with all client issues, managing ? fitting and alteration sessions).
- Study industry trends to propose strategies for retaining and delighting clients as well as improving our internal processes and new products as market leaders.
- Work closely with the Senior Sales Manager in prospecting for potential clients and assisting with project management.
- Creating relevant KPI trackers (ie. delivery schedules, issues, etc) to enhance the Commercial team’s efficiency and productivity, ensuring these trackers are kept up to date at all times.
- Take full ownership of clients and projects and look for opportunities to improve processes, products, and experiences wherever possible
Qualifications
- Previous account management experience
- 3+ years experience working in a similar role within the Clothing/hospitality / FMCG
- Articulate and well-accustomed to a client-facing role
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Thrives on new challenges, and in a fast-paced varied work environment.
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal), organisational skills, and high motivation to continually exceed targets and deliver exceptional results
