Business Development Manager
Business Development Manager required for successful business covering the Midlands / North of England. This is a pivotal role focussing on forging new partnerships as well as fortifying existing relationships and driving sales into a variety of vertical markets, including NHS Trusts, Retailers and trade wholesalers.
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will aim to develop new business and grow existing customer relationships. Although you will be given some existing clients, you will also need to prospect for new clients across a variety of channels. You will be responsible for arranging customer meetings and preparing proposals and presentations.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within healthcare or medical devices and a strong successful personal business development history involved in account development, new business hunting and effective cross-selling to fully penetrate sales opportunities with existing and prospective accounts with the ability to develop new and building account relationships to consistently achieve and exceed business goals and results. Self-directed with the ability to effectively plan and document daily activities including appointments, customer call-backs, new contacts, prospect user calls, etc.
Home based role. Salary c£45k pa plus bonus and benefits.
