Blair West is supporting our client, an invested Software company that provides visual, immersive, interactive 3D mapping to data, as they search for a Business Development Manager.

You will operate as the face of the company, understanding prospects requirements, matching them to their proposition and either demonstrating their software solution or managing the sales process to allow prospects to understand how their products can improve their business.

The opportunity:

  • Help define, implement & execute a sales strategy to ensure we exceed revenue targets.
  • Through qualification and discovery meetings, having gained an in-depth understanding of the prospect's business requirements, frustrations, and needs.
  • Identifying, verbalising and demonstrating the solutions to prospects and matching them to the benefits to be realised by prospects.
  • Preparing proposals and appropriate documents to allow prospects to make an informed decision on investment in the software.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

  • A minimum of five years in software sales or solution selling.
  • A proven track record within B2B Sales and prospecting.
  • An understanding of SaaS Metrics and life cycle.
  • Knowledge selling into either of the following would be advantageous - infrastructure, utilities, transport, maritime, government.
  • Comfortable working in a scale-up environment.
