Business Development Manager

Carbon60 are currently looking for a self-motivated Business Development Manager to join one of our global-leading Water-Industry clients who provide sustainable water treatment solutions whilst keeping innovation, quality and long-term ecological sustainability at the forefront.

This role will be within the Wastewater sector, looking specifically at increasing this client's reach in providing water treatment systems across the area of Northern England and Scotland.

The successful candidate will aim to supply water purification systems to companies within various industries in this area such as: Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Medical amongst others.

Given the nature of this business and their aim, this role would suit an individual with a keen interest in making strides towards environmental sustainability.

Salary and Package: Up to £55k p/a + package

Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities
  • Create lasting relationships with clients and contacts across various industries, offering Water Treatment Solutions and Reverse Osmosis systems.
  • Collaborate with appropriate teams to meet the needs of clients effectively
  • Provide demonstrations of products, attend exhibitions and provide market feedback
  • Embrace the company ethos

Role Requirements and skills:

  • Direct experience within the engineering sector - ideally within the water industry on relevant experience
  • Proven sales expertise and the ability to develop longstanding client relationships
  • Proficiency in CRM software to manage customer and sales activity
  • Understanding of and experience working within the healthcare market is preferred
  • Outstanding communication and problem solving skills
  • Must hold a valid drivers license and be willing to travel
