An opportunity for an Business Development Manager to join an established logistics and distribution company who specialise in providing bespoke transport solutions for their customers whilst providing additional services such as warehousing and fleet maintenance.

The company's ultimate goal is to keep the customer at the heart of everything they do and to do this you need to be excellent at building strong relationships with customers by really understanding their needs and looking for solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

They are currently looking for an established Business Development Manager to join their team where you will cover the entire UK securing national business opportunities. You'll be supported by the wider business to facilitate your performance to:

  • deliver sustainable sales and profit growth in line with agreed targets.
  • develop profitable new business through active lead generation and ongoing account creation.

Your performance will be in line with agreed company KPIs including business growth and retention. You will be able to demonstrate excellent selling skills and have a proven track record in regularly exceeded sales targets. Excellent customer relations and a flexible approach are essential.

Ideally, you will have a background in selling logistic and fleet solutions.

The successful Business Development Manager will be rewarded with a basic salary of £40,000 - £45,000, car allowance or company car and an uncapped OTE of £15,000+, contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus many more company benefits.
