The Opportunity: Business Development Manager, Briggs Equipment - Engineering Services

Contract: Permanent 

Location: Scotland  

The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. We are currently looking to add a new Business Development Manager to our team who has experience in either, Plant & Tool Hire, Groundcare Equipment or Power & Pumps, to help drive the growth of our Engineering Services division across Scotland. The Impact you will have:

• Driving the growth of Engineering Services in Scotland across the Briggs Equipment Group through proactively targeting new product verticals within both existing and new customers
• Establishing a new product vertical in Scotland through leveraging existing Group relationships
• Working with Briggs Equipment Engineering Services (Scotland) and Asset Maintenance Services business to highlight a customer target list
• Expand on current customer relationships to develop Capital Equipment Sales
• Grow a team around you and further develop your career 

What will help you to excel in this role:

• A commercially astute individual who has the desire to progress and establish a new business unit.
• Extensive sector knowledge ideally within Plant and Tool Hire or Groundcare Equipment.
• Substantial experience of managing customer accounts, new business development and stakeholder management
• High levels of IT literacy and communication skills
• A proven track record in new business development across Scotland
• Demonstrable experience of large complex tender processes
