We are looking for a driven and progressive Business Development Manager, selling labelling solutions into clients throughout the UK. Our labelling solutions are used by a wide range of industries up and down the high street. You'll be empowered, trusted, and supported to go out and generate new business.
 
BASIC SALARY: £40,000 - £50,000 + Commission

JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - Labels, Packaging
 
As a Business Development Manager, your role will focus on developing new relationships with a wide range of potential customers including blue-chip and SMEs across all market sectors. You will also need to develop further relationships and revenue streams with our existing customer base.
 
In addition to the above you will:
· Work closely with senior team members to ensure all forecasting is realistic and targets achieved.
· Submit and follow up quotations & deliver samples to new and potential customers.
· Work creatively with clients on NPD and articulate these to the in-house design and sampling teams to ensure new products meet the specification.
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - Labels, Packaging
 
We will be looking for a driven field salesperson with a real focus on business development who wants to develop their career with a growing independent supplier.
 
You will also have been:
· Able to call on your knowledge of the packaging industry, however this experience is not essential, the quality of the applicant is the most important element.
· Commercially astute and consultative approach to new business development.
· Excellent at relationship building and communicating across all levels of decision maker.
· Confident in using your influencing skills to enable collaborative working with internal and external stakeholders.
· A 'can-do' candidate with a drive to get the job done.
· Self-motivated, ambitious, entrepreneurial, money motivated with excellent team player skills.

It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Sales Account Manager, Sales Executive, Territory Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager. Business Development Manager, Business Manager. For clarity this role is bias towards business development and new business.
