Here at Wrigleys we are looking for a Business Development Manager to work alongside the BD & Events team in delivering strategic support, tactical BD activity and support aligned to the firm’s BD strategy. You will be leading key projects and work areas within the BD&E department while supporting the firm with BD duties on a day-to-day basis. 

This is a hybrid working role, based in either our Leeds or Sheffield office.

As Business Development Manager at Wrigleys Solicitors, your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and supporting the implementation of all related marketing and business development activities for a number of fee-earning teams
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of annual strategies and activities
  • Monitoring ROI of BD activity through investment proposals and marketing expenditure reports
  • Supporting the implementation of all related marketing and BD activities
  • Supporting head of business development & events to implement strategy in line with firm and departmental business strategies and action plans
  • Taking responsibility for editing and maintaining content for website across the firm, including preparing content and supporting fee-earning colleagues with content
  • Taking responsibility for creating, editing and maintaining content for social media across the firm
  • Engaging with the planning and facilitation of media content recording and creation
  • Overseeing the integrated media content campaigns
  • Supporting and encouraging creation and management of central tender resources
  • Researching tender opportunities within suitable markets for relevant fee-earning teams
  • Monitoring opportunities for press releases and case studies for relevant team
  • Coordinating with external resources to design advertisements, in both printed and online publications
  • Directing support for external relationships with third parties for fee-earning teams, for BD purposes when requested
  • Ensuring all systems and weekly reports are updated accurately and completed on time
At Wrigleys Solicitors, we’re looking for a Business Development Manager with:
  • Extensive experience of working as a manager in a Business Development function
  • Experience of working in a professional services firm
  • Experience of building relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers
  • Outstanding organisation skills
  • Experience of using social media platforms, X and LinkedIn
  • Good IT literacy, including an intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to produce presentations, spreadsheets, documents etc
