Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Birmingham, Solihull, UK, Hybrid Working

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (+ Commission)

We are seeking a dynamic MSP Business Development Manager to join our team in Birmingham, with hybrid working. Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MSP sector, focusing on acquiring new clients and expanding our market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients, showcasing our MSP solutions and value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and the company.
  • Track sales performance metrics, analyze data, and generate regular reports to assess progress towards targets and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in business development within the IT or MSP industry, with a track record of successfully meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and other relevant technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to prospecting and lead generation, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
