The Opportunity:
Nigel Wright Group are excited to be exclusively supporting Chaophraya in Leeds with their recruitment of a Business Development Manager. Chaophraya is part of the UK’s only premium Thai restaurant group and celebrate their 20th anniversary in Leeds during 2024. The BDM role is tasked with growing new corporate and consumer clients in order to drive revenue and repeat business. If you have a passion for Leeds city centre and a proven track record of networking and building lucrative relationships, this role could be for you.

Role Profile:
  • Finding and prospecting new consumer and corporate clients for the Leeds restaurant
  • Arranging commercially driven meetings to showcase the organisation’s offerings
  • Presenting proposals to clients in line with company pricing
  • Creating and managing a sales pipeline of bookings through to fruition
  • Attending Leeds city centre focused networking events to build new relationships
  • Collaborating with restaurant management as well as the senior leadership team

Person Specification:
  • A commercially driven, results orientated individual with a proven track record of generating leads and developing sales
  • Experience in a sales-driven role within the hospitality sector would be advantageous
  • A background working in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Proven track record of networking is essential
  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed
  • Effective time management and personal organisation
  • Knowledgeable of Leeds city centre and the business network
