Business Crime & Regulatory Solicitor
We are seeking an experienced Regulatory Solicitor (approximately 2-6 years PQE) to join our clients Manchester Business Crime & Regulatory team.
The department represents professionals, corporate clients, and individuals nationwide in a variety of intricate and high-quality matters.
About the Role
- The ideal candidate should have a background in regulatory work, particularly in handling Fitness to Practice cases, which includes:
- Providing guidance on disciplinary proceedings procedures
- Assisting in interview preparation and drafting written representations and responses
- Offering advice on legal challenges and appeals against regulatory decisions
- Supplying legal assistance to individuals facing penalties and disqualification
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 2-6 years' relevant Post-Qualification Experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in Criminal, Fitness to Practice, and Regulatory law, as well as familiarity with associated practices and procedures.
- Experience in case preparation across all court levels and tribunals related to Criminal and Regulatory matters.
- Proven capability in managing complex cases and conducting thorough investigative work.
- Effective communication skills for developing connections and fostering trust.
- Experience in all aspects of Statutory Licence work would be advantageous.
