Our client, a leading financial organisation in London is seeking a Business Analyst Team Lead who will be responsible for  shaping and delivering business analysis work for the Regulatory Reporting business service.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the interface between the business teams, IT teams and third-party software providers.
  • Working closely with third-party software providers, architecture, internal developers and testers to ensure that business requirements are understood.
  • Interpretation of Regulation Articles and Regulatory Technical Standards to complete impact assessments and help define change to the regulatory systems and services. 
  • Leading analysis and requirements activities for the Regulatory Reporting service and supporting the business teams to prioritise and manage their backlog of change enhancements and/or production fixes.
  • Working closely with the Head of Business Analysis with regards to BA team resourcing and planning.
  • Managing the day-to-day activities of each direct report, including task assignment and workload balancing.
  • Setting clear goals and objectives for direct reports, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their personal development.
  • Conducting mid-year and end-of-year appraisals.

Required Knowledge and Level of Experience:

Experience working in a Clearing House, Exchange, Member Firm or the ETD department within a bank.

Previous line management experience would be beneficial 

Knowledge of EMIR 2.0/30, MIFID II and BoE regulations would be an advantage
