Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Administrator to join our client's dynamic team. Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a talented and organised individual to support their Supply Chain operations. This is a temporary position with a contract length of 6 months, offering a competitive hourly rate of £14.

As a Business Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the compliance requirements of our client's Supply Chain, Engineering, and Project Management teams. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining supplier data to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Contacting suppliers to gather detailed information and resolve queries
  • Building strong relationships with individuals and businesses to ensure compliance support
  • Communicating effectively with suppliers to convey requirements and ensure timely responses
  • Collaborating with third-party providers to share data and promote efficiency
  • Developing tools to enhance the storage and dissemination of Supply Chain data
  • Providing regular analytical support and reports to demonstrate the effectiveness of supplier communications
  • Working closely with stakeholders to ensure understanding and action on supplier information
  • Raising issues to management when support does not meet compliance needs
  • Creating and publishing supplier correspondence as required
  • Tracking open query closure rates and responding to supplier feedback in a closed loop fashion
  • Arranging supplier reviews as directed
  • Maintaining a clear action status log

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate plainly and concisely
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database tools (beginner level, but with an aptitude to develop further)
  • Understanding of engineering material specifications and drawings
  • Familiarity with Supply Chain Management concepts, delivery management, and commercial implications
  • Professional and courteous approach to dealing with others
  • High energy and enthusiasm when collaborating with colleagues
  • Problem-solving mindset and a natural inclination for seeking improvement opportunities
  • Tenacity and focus on achieving end goals
  • Strong team player

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or service environment
  • Proven track record of delivering on expectations
  • Effective in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritise multiple demands from various stakeholders
