Building Surveyor

We are currently recruiting for a Building Surveyor to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy, and work from their London office (hybrid). Our client provides a full range of building surveying services on both residential and commercial projects. Due to continued success and the already existing workload, our client requires a Building Surveyor that can come on board and help to bolster the team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join a growing Consultancy, that can offer genuine career progression opportunities.

Building Surveyor Position Remuneration

• Salary: £35k - £65k DOE
• Hybrid working (up to 3 days from home)

Building Surveyor Position Overview

• Working on a range of small to medium size residential, commercial and PPM projects providing general building surveying services, including but not limited to:
• Defect diagnosis investigations
• Licences for Alterations
• Dilapidations Claims
• Insurance reinstatement valuations
• Preparation of detailed specifications, schedules of work and drawings
• Drafting and Contract Administration of Minor and Intermediate forms of JCT Contracts
• Preparation of schedule of dilapidations and negotiating on behalf of landlord or tenant
• Other duties to be discussed as required

Building Surveyor Position Requirements

• Relevant degree / qualification
• Minimum of 3 years' building surveying experience
• Able to commute to Birmingham twice a week
• Ideally MCIOB / MRICS if not, be willing to work towards this
• Good organisation skills
• Capable of working both in a team and independently
