Our client, an employee-owned, Property Consultancy based in Bristol, has a great opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their collaborative and supportive team. As a Building Surveyor, the role offers a level of autonomy, the workload will be diverse, and the successful candidates will be able to manage themselves day to day as well as carry out Business Development.

The role offers Hybrid working and a level of flexibility, It is a full-time role, however, part-time hours would be considered for the right individual.

Responsibilities of the Building Surveyor: -

  • Conducting thorough inspections of buildings, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties
  • Providing expert advice on building regulations, construction methods, and maintenance practices
  • Advising clients on property purchases, renovations, and development projects
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and other professionals involved in construction projects

Requirements of the Building Surveyor: -

  • Professional accreditation or licensure, such as RICS or equivalent professional bodies
  • A bachelor's degree in surveying, building surveying, construction management, or a related field
  • Experience conducting building inspections, assessments, and surveys across various types of properties (residential, commercial, industrial)
  • Experience liaising with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
