The difference you will make as Building Safety Inspector:
In this role you will carry out Building Safety (Fire Door) inspections to identify and respond to defects, prioritising and ensuring actions are undertaken in a timely manner by removing hazards and ensuring any installed equipment is operational to ensure people are safe and the building is working effectively. To defend any liability claims relating to the communal areas and to provide a due diligent defence against a claim for breach of a statutory or regulatory requirement or defend an allegation for serious detriment.
About you
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience undertaking Building Safety / Property management inspections or building safety resident engagement
- Basic knowledge of Fire Safety within Social Housing, including government and industry guidance, British standards, building regulations and the requirements of Fire Safety Order 2005 (RRO), Fire Safety Act 2022 and Building Safety Act 2022 in relation to inspection of fire doors.
