Cobalt is currently working with a household-name managing agent as they look to grow their FM team in the SOuth West of England.

The company is determined to revolutionize property management by departing from the conventional, stagnant approach and instead offering a transformative service focused on their customers.

With a commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, our client is in search of a Building Manager for a brand new property that highlights the advancements in commercial real estate.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Assessing the current FM services in the building and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Managing multiple capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects and refurbishments.
  • Establishing and overseeing the service charge budget.
  • Collaborating with the UK Head of FM to select and manage hard and soft service FM partners, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs.
  • Supervising on-site teams responsible for reception, security, and cleaning; Ensuring full compliance with UK health and safety regulations and proactively managing risks.
  • Championing sustainability and environmental initiatives whenever feasible.
  • Managing on-site placemaking initiatives and coordinating pop-up events as needed; Developing strong relationships with key tenant representatives.

Our client seeks a passionate and visionary Building Manager who is excited about bringing their vision for 21st-century building management to fruition.

Previous experience in managing entire buildings or portfolios is essential, along with a minimum IOSH qualification. Experience with service charge budgets is highly desirable, and you should be able to demonstrate a history of delivering exceptional FM customer service.
