Overview

We are looking to recruit an ambitious and self-motivated individual in a quasi-role of 'Building Manager & Host at Dale House in Stockport. The successful candidate will have an autonomous role in the management of the building, ensuring the smooth running of the business centre, delivering first class customer service, whilst monitoring & maintaining the estate and associated compliance requirements.

Applicants should be entrepreneurial and be prepared to embrace the role and responsibilities as their own.

Experience

Ideally customer facing roles, building management & compliance understanding, management of third parties.

Duties/Skills

  • Computer literate - must have a good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel,Outlook.

  • Must approach problematic situations head on, be prepared to be a sounding board for clients complaints and able to provide appropriate solutions
  • Take the lead in managing building maintenance & improvements and procurement of contractors and related quotations
  • Manage (via 3rd party suppliers) the IP telephony system and IT requirements of the clients
  • Raise purchase orders and book in contractors
  • Review RAMS and insurance of contractors and manage related work permits
  • Support Asset manager in management of existing building maintenance reports and schedules in line with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Conducting regular building inspections and reporting to HQ
  • Support Asset Manager in regards Building & Health and Safety Compliance - carrying out risk assessments in line with regulatory and legal requirements
  • Carrying out emergency protocols and procedures
  • Updating in house procedural documents as required
  • Assisting with debt collection where required
  • Assist in viewings where necessary.
