Position: Commercial Maintenance Engineer/ Fabric Technician

Location: Foot Mobile in Central Birmingham

Duration: Permanent

Salary: From £28,000 to £33,000 plus package

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Maintenance Person to cover a small number of sites in central Birmingham. These sites are based closely together.

This role will be dealing with general on site maintenance which will include basic plumbing, basic electrics, carpet tiles, carpentry, painting and decorating as well as compliance that includes alarm checks and water temp checks.

The right person for this position will be happy walking to or commuting to a small number of sites in central Birmingham, they will have a flexible approach to work and already have a background dealing with commercial building services maintenance.

It would be an advantage if this person had a city and guilds or nvq level 2 in either plumbing, carpentry or engineering.

Requirements

  • Strong background in Commercial Building Maintenance
  • Able to deal with carpentry, plumbing and decorating
  • Must have experience dealing with compliance
  • Happy to travel to a number of sites on foot
  • Level 2 maintenance qualification is preferred

Package

  • Basic salary subject to experience
  • 22 days holiday increasing yearly

  • Any travel expenses covered if required
  • Some out of hours overtime available
  • No on call
