Building Maintenance Engineer - IMMEDIATE VACANCY!
Based in Kingston upon Thames

Full time permanent role
Hours: 8am - 5pm. Over time available

Salary: £34,000 - £35,000 per annum plus excellent benefits package

Our client is seeking a Multi skilled Maintenance Engineer carry out reactive and PPM works at a site based in Kingston Upon Thames. This role has fantastic opportunities to develop and progress within the industry.

You will be required to work Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with overtime opportunities available.On completion of probation, you will be added to the on-call rota, which is approx. every 6t weeks (Paid extra)

This is an immediately available role in a dynamic and prestigious building working as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Required to be very technically strong with great fault-finding abilities and a desire to work in a demanding yet rewarding environment.
• Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical plant following Site task schedules and asset lists.
• Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to always maintain plant in serviceable order.
• Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out both maintenance and reactive works. To provide parts lists and estimated timescales to carry out remedial works.
• Ensure that all relevant jobs on the CAFM system via your personal tablet / phone is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices

.Person Specification

• Worked within building services for the last 5 years.
• City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical qualifications/plumbing
• Ideally has experience working within a University / Hospital
• Must be well presented with good interpersonal skills as this is a client-facing roll.
