Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting a Building Control Surveyor to start a new role in Manchester, Greater Manchester. 

You will support the Building Control Team. The surveyor will be predominantly office based in the central Manchester Office and provide support and supervision of inspectors at all levels (class 1 to 3) and sign off their work. 

There is a significant amount of high rise and complex work that will need supervision, including a number of high-rise residential buildings, large commercial and mixed-use buildings as well as the more typical householder and smaller scale developments. You may be required to carry out inspections if needed, so must be prepared to use your own car to travel to and from site.

This role is predominantly office based their will potentially be opportunity for home working a day a week.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience:  Must have knowledge and experience acquired, whilst working in a Local Authority or Approved Inspector building control organisation, is suitable for the role.

Qualifications: Qualified to degree level or equivalent, in a related discipline and holds a professional membership of a building control related organisation - Chartered Assoc of Building Engineers (MCABE), Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), or equivalent.

Compliance: Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 35 hours a week

Travel: Full UK driving license
